The electro-rock quartet Dearworld has recently thundered into the Dutch music scene. Armed with a dream, a goal and an infectious set of original songs, the band’s main goal is to inspire every member of their audience to dance, and dance hard.
The music of Dearworld lies somewhere between uplifting electro-house and rock. Their influences include Soulwax, Radiohead, Muse and Depeche Mode. Live, they guarantee an intense, raw show, colored by an unusual mix of musical media comprised of analog synthesizers, heavy house beats, and soaring, haunting vocals.
The potency of Dearworld has not gone unnoticed. In their short existence, Dearworld has already proven their success in performances at 3FM, a scathing show at Solar Festival, a spot on Paaspop via Next Best Band, a concert in Paradiso and concerts with major bands Motor (USA) and Vive La Fête (BE). Dearworld is currently working on their debut album that will be released in 2012.
A Dearworld show is an entrancing carnival that forces you to dance!
