Today is day one of a four-day-recording session @moonstudio Roermond with our friends Wouter Bude & Tom van Haute. First things first: Setting up strings, dings & dongs and what not.. Oh and it's a freakin' ANALOG SYNTH CANDYSTORE over here!!! Huub needs more arms :-)

Yesterday we played live on radio 3FM as guests of Jim Vorwald. We played our new song Pardox Superstar and our own version of God Put a Smile Upon Your Face
from Coldplay.
After starting the festival season with a loud BANG at Paaspop, it is now time for a new national adventure! This coming thursday night at 01.00 we will be playing on Radio 3FM!! Officially Friday the 13th so it’s gonna be extra special! :-) Also a great opportunity to play some new songs, and show that we've improved much since the last time we were there!

The falling leaves of autumn are already covering up summer. We know that it took us quite some time but here it finally is: The compilation movie of our shows at the Solar festival and at Paradiso!!
For those of you who were there (find yourself in the movie!?), enjoy the nice memory of a wonderful time together! Thanks to all of you!!!
Last week we rocked the stage of the famous Paradiso church in Amsterdam! Ow yeah, it was fantasick!
Marcel Krijgsman was with us to document the whole thing. He took some great pictures of the evening, and put together an interview based on a real nice conversation we had before the show. Thank you Marcel!!

Last weekend was ABSOLUTELY F*CKING GREAT! We rocked the stage, weather was fine, and the audience went WILD! Thank you dear friends, for giving us so much energy, adrenaline and the time of our lives!
Our good friends Dominique de Vlieger and Angélo Schuurmans were there to capture the show on camera. There will be a nice compilation-video (together with shots of our performance in Paradiso, Amsterdam due September 2nd) but it will take some time. Until' that day, here's a short teaser video...

Our debut EP has been expanded with two 'old' new tracks: 'Symmetry' & 'Human Being'. Although we've already played these songs many times on stage, we never got the chance to make a nice recording of it.
Now that these tracks have been captured, we are able to focus on a real FULLGROWN album with brand new songs! So stay put, 'cause we won't let you down.. KISSES!

In de zomer wil je als band op festivals spelen. Zoveel mogelijk. Natuurlijk zijn er dromen (Lowlands?). Af en toe komt er een droom uit (Paaspop!) En dan worden we ook nog eens gevraagd om op Solar te spelen! Wat een mooie zomer…

Yeahhhh!! DEARWORLD WINT ALS NEXT BEST BAND DE LAATSTE PODIUM PLEK OP PAASPOP!!!
Aan iedereen die die ons heeft geholpen met het stemmen, super bedankt!! Jullie support was hartverwarmend!
Op WATT festival 28 mei in Oss worden de beloofde kussen van de bandleden officieel overhandigd aan jullie.
De strijd was fel, maar het verlossende woord is er! Dearworld is de winnaar van de Paaspop contest! Dearworld speelt zaterdag om 16:00 in de Restolounge.
Na een stemronde van een week werd het de laatste dag een ware nek-aan-nekrace tussen Dearworld en Monks Avenue. Op twitter en facebook ging het los en op de site van Next Best Band was de spanning om te snijden. Er is flink gestemd. Maar zoals je weet kan er maar één de winnaar zijn. Dearworld gefeliciteerd!

Begin februari zijn wij met onze Belgische vriend regisseur/cameraman Dominique de Vlieger een weekend in België gaan schieten voor de videoclip van het nummer ‘WASTER’, onze eerste single. Op dag 1 hebben wij als band veel lol gemaakt en spelenderwijs scènes geschoten van ons als totaal en afzonderlijk.

Voor de tweede keer in onze carrière krijgen wij hulp en aandacht van springplankorganisatie NEXT BEST BAND. In 2009 stonden wij dankzij hen in de spiegeltent van Solarfestival in Roermond. Dit jaar zijn we uitverkoren om een promotietour te gaan doen langs 4 verschillende poppodia in het land!
